It's also got a nice water resistant outer material that makes it good for light showers.

The Price: $68 for the small and $88 for the large.

The Verdict: Is it enough to replace the Timbuk2 laptop messenger as our go-to bag of choice? Not quite, but at 2/3 the price, it's good enough for toting around your laptop, camera, cellphone and other gear when your pockets just won't do.

There's no dedicated laptop compartment like the Timbuk2, and it has fewer internal pockets, but it functions just fine as a city bag or man purse. The bonus here is that Gama-Go has a more inspired and trendy design, whereas Timbuk2 has the classic three-stripe motif. (Timbuk2 does have artist-designed bags, but cost around $150 each.) Gama-Go fans should give this one (the large one—the small doesn't fit a laptop) a look, but hardcore mobile workers will want to go for the higher priced and higher quality solution. [Gama-Go]

<![CDATA[Gama-Go Keytars Are Classy and Full of Rock]]> Keytars! Not just the tools of '80s bands and '80s revival bands, they're slip-covers for your keys to differentiate them from each other. Our buddies at Gama-Go made these wonderful things for just $6 each. Instead of having to look closely to see which key is slightly shorter or fatter than the other (difficult when drunk), just look at their color. It's the next best thing to Keyport, except these guys don't keep your keys for 7 months and stop responding to emails. While you're grabbing this, go ahead and grab some shirts and hoodies. They're quality. [Gama-Go]

<![CDATA[Black Heart Filpperoo: Limited-Edition Weird Clock for Valentine's Day]]> Valentine's Day is coming up, and here's a unique gift for that red letter day: a limited edition clock (without alarm) called the Black Heart Flipperoo from Gama-Go. It combines an old-timey clock-with-hands (you do remember how to tell analog time, don't you?) with individually-designed flipping dates. Slightly different from the Flipperoos we've seen here before, only 50 of these babies will be made, and the artists have hand-numbered and signed the back of each clock with a little heart-shaped design.

It's an oddly retro-looking timepiece, no doubt aimed at those with certain tastes, but if you're looking for something unusual, this would probably be it. Only problem is, you have to drop $120 to give this peculiar gift. You could get some really nice flowers for half that. We're still trying to figure out why the price went up by $60. Abraham Lincoln's autograph might fetch $60, but this?
