    @PN - gooapplesoft: Well, Google is famous for their limited betas. It isn't out of the realm of possibility that once Gizmo5 is added to Google Voice that Gizmo5 users will get to use the feature first. Similar to how all former Grandcentral users got first dibs on Google Voice.

    Plus Gizmo5 can currently be used (in a very roundabout way) with GV.

    @PN - gooapplesoft: I've been using Google Voice for my business for several months (all calls routed to my cell, the features make it a PERFECT business line). The only problem is I fly through my minutes when I'm in the office. I figured the buyout would lead to a Skype competitor, and if Google Voice worked with Gizmo5 already I should signup and be at the front of the line. I haven't been able to test it yet to my bluetooth headphones not playing nice with Win7, but I'm excited about the possibilities of a (pretty much) free office line. #gizmo5

    Will we have to pay for our US calling now if Gizmo5 becomes part of the whole GV deal? If so... le sigh. I just got my G1 back from repairs and set up Sipdroid and GV/Gizmo so I could use my GV callout to make free calls when I need to.

    If they're gonna start charging, I'm out =\ #gizmo5

    Following that, will Google have to start playing by the same rules as the telecoms with Google Voice? They're getting away with some of their restrictions now because they are not a telecom, but this adds complexity to the issue. #gizmo5

    @zmnatz: Does Skype get around those restrictions because they are considered an overseas company, not an American one? After the whole Google Voice debacle with AT&T, I wondered about Skype myself (I have used Skype for many years now). #gizmo5
