    Well, for whiskey or vodka a flask would serve the purpose quite well. If that's not enough alcohol, just get one of those backpack water dispensers and enjoy your Bordeaux.

    @Pope John Peeps II: Beer mugs are the brass knuckles of the bar. Fresh out of the freezer, it exacerbates the pain a big heavy piece of hollow glass can inflict. Wine glasses may be delicate, but are the ninjas of glass slashing. Thinner points of glass make for harder to remove shards in the face, thus greater pain for a longer period of time. Goblets are useless

    This reminds me of the "Das Boot" from Beerfest, only for wine. I would think a carbonated beverage would NOT work well with this.
