    The only stickers I want on my laptop are the sparkly holographic ones.

    Preferably of unicorns and/or rainbows.

    @OMG! Ponies!: Correction -

    On further reflection, I will also permit puffy stickers, official Mr. Yuk stickers, stickers of Formula 1 race cars, tyrannosaurus rex stickers, and peanut-butter scratch n' sniff stickers.

    I will not permit bubblegum scratch n' sniff stickers because the smell makes me nauseous.

    Did it ever occur to Microsoft that one sticker might be one too many? They need to focus their energy on making a product that people want to use and stop treating computers like a skateboard.

    @Monty: Microsoft pays to put the sticker on your laptop, just like Intel does. This helps offset the cost and, unlike with fruit-based electronics, PC laptop manufacturers pass the savings on to you.

    I'll accept a Microsoft sticker if it means paying less for a laptop. I have Goo-Gone in my house to remove any sticker residue.

    Those case stickers stopped being cool with that Vista stuff.

    Now they have a sticker coolness deficit to overcome.

    They need a "Might run on Windows 7" sticker.

    @winmac: No man, thats too easy Microsoft needs multiple versions to make your selection easy. They at least need Pro, Home, Office, Home Office, Lite, Super Lite, Ultra, Ultimate, and Server.

    @Usama: I don't think they genuinely need "home" vs "business". Even though the needs of the two groups are different, the only reason they don't just load it all on one machine is so that they can differ in pricing. And Ultimate should just be something you unlock with a purchase code.
