    @bosskev: Well sometimes I like my food heated (I know what a wuss, right?) What can I say, I'm spoiled like that. Now most of the time I will shove a can under my car hood (or mobile grill as I like to call it) and that works just fine. Money has been tight lately so I've had to resort to steal, that is, borrowing electricity (and WiFi) from my neighbor.

    Wow, this is so awesome I'm almost looking forward to the day when I'm living in a cardboard box under the bridge, stealing electricity from the grid to power by tabletop dishwasher.

    So its capactiy looks to be six plates and four glasses? Seems to me that given the trouble to set up and use this dinky thing it might be faster/easier just to hand wash those few items.

    I don't understand the concept of mini-dishwashers. They aren't ever powerful enough that you can put stuff in with food on them, so you have to pre-wash them, so just wash them all the way instead.

    @thebriman21: Just close your eyes, click your heels together and say, "There's no place like Yanko. There's no place like Yanko." Keep repeating it until the dishwasher automagically appears on your countertop..

    Interesting look to be sure, great for singles or maybe elders who dont have a lot of dishes, but, if you dont have space for a traditonal dishwasher, I wonder how much space you will have on table or counter top for this.

    @Curves: I'm going to guess about the size of two toaster ovens.

    @Curves: As a single, something like this might be useful. It mostly depends on cost. this would have to be cheap to justify the effort to wash 4 dishes.

    @Xeno: I am single as well, but have a kid, and they make a lot of dirty dishes! When I lived alone I avoided dishes by eating over the sink so the crumbs fell in or from paper plates and no mess.

    @Curves:
    If you got the bucks but not the room:
    [gizmodo.com] or [www.insideadvantage.com]
    Briva in-sink dishwasher from kitchen aid (about $1800)

    @Curves: What a waste of good paper plates. I just eat right out of whatever pot or dish I cooked the food in...

    Pot? Dish? Cook? Hell, I just eat dinner directly from the can, no muss, no fuss. (For really fancy occasions, like a special dinner guest, I'll heat up the contents on paper plates--the nice, coated, paper plates.)

    @aec007: I have a nice, full size dishwasher, but since I dont do pots and pans in it, I really only do maybe 2 loads a week. I stash the dishes in there until I get enough dishes to run a full load. I never had a dishwasher till my current place, and always considered them a luxury. Not any more, they are a necessity.
