    I'm new to the Xbox world so I'm just cutting my teeth with the first GOW. Pretty impressed so far. It's the first shooter on a console I think is actually pretty decent (still not on par with top shelf PC shooters, but they probably never will be.)


    Love my Zune too. But my bet on the 3rd gen Zune is that it takes a decidedly Xbox-ish (i.e, gaming bent) turn. It's a great platform, but that's the only chance it has to gain traction.

    zune 8gb here, got about 5.5 gb of tunes on it currently.


    i use it at work, and i get about 14-15 hrs of battery life. working 4 10hr shifts means it get recharged every night when i get home from work. aside of some teething pains with the software, it's a nifty little player.

    and it's black!!!

    I'll definately wait until the next gen of Zune's as I own an original turd brown 30gb and it is still pretty cool. Does what it needs to do and I truly enjoy Zune marketplace much better than when I had my Ipod nano 4gb. iTunes can be a complete pain in the ass sometimes. In fact I ended up using Floola 99% of the time anyways when importing new music.

    I want one, but I think I'll wait until the price comes down. I picked up my Zune30 for $89 (woot.com special, in black!).


    For now, I'll probably be able to find all the included content at one of the more shady places on the Internet.

    Xenocide - a lackluster follow-up to Orson Scott Card's two best books, Ender's Game and Speaker For The Dead, sequel to Ender's Game.
