If the cameras were about safety, they wouldn't be taken down if they fail to generate enough revenue.

GPS devices really seem like they're not quite there yet. They're one of the most indispensable gadgets in the world, up there with cellphones. I give 'em 2 years to make all these ancillary features standard, and then they'll rule.

Seriously? How is that necessary? Are there actually people who consider whether or not to run red lights based solely upon whether or not there is a traffic camera present?

It's a bit scary to think that there are enough people that callously stupid to support the sale of the content. What's next, drunk driving checkpoints, and POIs for meth labs?

@BeautifulAgony: Agreed. camera or no camera, it wont effect if I stop or not. I also use a radar detector, and if I get caught, I shut up and pay up. Its all about choices.
