    I work at a Radio Schmack within stones throw of two retirement communities.


    I have to explain this shit several times a day.


    I just about busted a gut laughing at this superbly made video.

    @strider_mt2k: I printed out this chart from Consumerist to explain the switch to my co-workers. It worked better in 30 seconds than my 5 minutes long explanation complete w/glassed over eyes.

    @daversW: When I moved a few months ago, I didn't bother to subscribe to cable (just DSL) and the only broadcast TV I watch now is over-the-air digital, via a converter box.


    The first converter box I got wouldn't seem to power on, so I exchanged it. Turned out the only way to power it on is with the remote.
