@theimmc: What I'd like is to see the science behind why they believe these work. Is it simply the fact that they have yellow lenses? Because if it is, I'd think that just tweaking the blue level down on your monitor should have the exact same effect.
bahh. they all look rounded. i have a flat asian face and need flat fram glasses. anyone else out there with a flat face have a suggestion as to what to buy?
@Happy BDay GitEm_Nick: I don't have a particularly flat face, but what I like to do is take a square foot of yellow cellophane and tape it to my face to reduce eye strain at the computer or on particularly sunny days. Sure, I get stares, but it works like a champ and is a helluva lot cheaper than buying special glasses, even with a 25% price break.
I'm not even going to comment on how selfish these glasses are, making your own eyes feel better while depriving future generations the evolutionary push into developing naturally yellow-tinted eyeballs.
@frigg: That's not how evolution works unless a yellow eye mutation increases their offspring or the lack of a yellow eye mutations results in less offspring.
@nick800: As the world migrates from an industrial to an information-based economy, the greater screen stamina experienced by individuals with a yellow-tinted eye mutation would make them the most sought-after mates and prolific parents. Their yellow-tinted mutation would be so highly prized, I would imagine that males expressing it would sell their sperm on eBay, give it away as door prizes, and distribute it at special events. Were it not for Gunnar Optiks, it's hard to imagine a future world that would not otherwise be populated by ovoid humans with short legs, long fingers, and large yellow-tinted eyes. And that, my friend, is the world I want to live in!
Damn you Gunnar Optiks, damn you for depriving me and my progeny of our yellow-tinted future!
Really bummed I missed the boat on this coupon. As someone who sits on the computer literally all day, I would have really liked to grab a pair of these. Hope to see future posts on equivalent or better discounts soon!
I'd totally buy these but I actually want my vision to get worse so I can go back to wearing glasses. Cause I thought I looked pretty cute in them. And none of that clear rimless jazz. I want people to see the rims on my glasses!
Too bad I got my lasik done by the head of the lasik division at Bascom Palmer. If only they weren't the best in the world maybe I'd be wearing glasses now!
No see these look like sunglasses, I want old-school glasses. I can still wear old school glasses with no prescription but since I don't need them I'll inevitably lose them in a day and also feel like a poser for wearing them.
Also these glasses will reduce my computer eye strain that will keep me from my goal of needing to wear prescription lenses as soon as possible!
@Kaiser-Machead's LEGO Hug Machine (with Cookies): Woops. lol. I meant to say, I think this sort of eye pain is beyond fists. Unless you do like in Innerspace, enter the eyeball, and zap the crap out of the retinas.
@Kaiser-Machead's LEGO Hug Machine (with Cookies): Interesting hypothesis. Do you care to test it out? If so, meet me in the alley and I'll stick electrodes into your eyeballs. And then I'll punch you in the eye.
@LindsayJoy's MBP is into S+M and its Snowing Leopards!: How about I advertise your website on my webcam? I'll write it on my chest and walk around topless. I'm also willing to do this for a certain Gizmo oriented site for the measly price of a cool roving wifi webcam. ::hint hint::

What I'd like is a pair that would fit over my glasses.

Can I have the ninja?

I have a whole bunch of LEGO ninjas minifigs! They are pretty cool. Maybe you can convince me to part with one!
