    The core problem with this gig is that Mac tends to attract dumb hotties with rich daddies. PC tends to attract fatties working at the same mall and WoW freaks.

    I think the choice is clear...

    @Ps360facepunch: I haven't really encountered particularly smug "Geniuses", but they'll only dole as much shit as they think you can tolerate. It's just that a lot of the customers that wander into Apple stores are too passive and it makes them bold. At least, that's my observation. #microsofthiringwindowsgurus

    @Kaiser-Machead: It also depends on the store.

    I found just how terrible the Station A (SoHo) and Apple Cube service is (including the intolerable waits even if you have an appointment) when I went to an Apple Store at a suburban mall.

    I waited for about 10 minutes past my appointment time, the gentleman was direct and concise, and bottom-lined everything.

    The guys working the counters in NYC are prickish because they can be prickish. #microsofthiringwindowsgurus

    If I didn't hate retail from my experience as a teenager and my first jobs, I'd consider it. Retail really can't pay me enough to give a fuck about pushing their products. That, and I already have a job. #microsofthiringwindowsgurus
