    I hope they have some big doors there that lock tight, to hold all the aliens in there.

    But, the vortigons (sp?), can actually be useful and go into the medical industry. Since they revived Alyx after her enounter with the hunter. #cernhalflife

    Jack Thompson proves he's a moron again.
    Maybe we should just do away with the "M for Mature" label for violence in games altogether and just have shrinks posted at Gamestop to evaluate people before selling them a game.
    Because apparently people OVER the age of 18 can't tell the difference between games and reality either. I mean, Jack certainly can't.

    Maybe Jack Thompson *is* capable of picking up irony. Dude used "wet dream" three times in his response before asking "why would you use such a gross image?"

    The height of narcissism right here. I've been reading Giz for about a year and barely recall hearing anyone mention Jack Thompson more than maybe once or twice. When you do, it's to make fun of him.
    *Clearly*, John, *you* need some *immediate* therapy to deal with your *obvious* obsession with crap that really isn't that big a deal.

    Anyone who has ever fired a real weapon will tell you that playing an FPS pales in comparison to the forces involved with hefting a rifle/pistol/shotgun and pulling the trigger. The only way to make the setup realistic the other way around would be to have a force feedback system that punches you in the shoulder/hip/wrist with varying intensities. A little offset weight in the controller doesn't do it justice.

    @DeusExMach will still be strong after the boys...: They were using real guns to aim, which is by far the most realistic way to do this. So there was real recoil.
    I do agree though, shooting a real gun compared to video game guns is by far and away a different experience.
