Bones change in response to the forces applied to them. Silent epidemic? This is "research" into a non-existent problem. The stresses placed on hands from computer and gaming use are nothing.
Back in the good old days of child labor (or adult labor) for that matter, serious changes in peoples hands good be expected. I think overall, our information based society has decreased any physical deformities, because we don't carry any loads these days. Unless you are someone who actually does something physical for more than 8 hours a day.
This pseudoscience shit really burns me up.
