HD Guru's 10 Best TVs You Can Buy (Including Our Top 5)
you don't have to validate your story for me, wilson. if they didn't list the same five as you i would have asked HD Guru why they omitted the obvious selections.
Dropping a 40" TV from 2200 to 1300 is not a sale. It appears to be because it's cheaper, but it's still a rip off. Having any 40" under 700 should be the norm. I have a 42" 120hz for $700 and it kicks ass. Especially when I use it as my computer monitor. Nobody, i repeat NOBODY should look at Gizmodo with anything less than a 1080p 42" viewing.
@Sean Scrooby Grube:
The real amusing part: most of these tv's are already on sale. The prices listed show the retail prices, not the current sale price you would get if you went in today. The difference in price between today and tomorrow is only about a hundred dollars, on average.
Unless you need a TV right this minute, you're better off waiting a couple months for the holiday deals. Unless the economy turns around tomorrow, there are going to be some serious discounts this Black Friday. I'm not proud, I'll punch out some Walmart shoppers to save hundreds of dollars on a new TV.
