I've been using a gyration Windows Media Center remote for about 18 months. It works great. I don't see how this thing is better. It lacks all of the media center controls.

@jeffbeerman2: I'm going to approve this if not just for the fact that it recommends a great alternative. I've used the gyration series for everything from a handful of games to presentations at various places. #hillcrestloop

If I got one of these things, I'd use it as a dog collar, name the dog "remote control," and whenever I want to change channels, beckon the dog.

The remote control controls my television just fine. And I don't browse teh interwebz on my television. This seems (to me) to be a solution in search of a problem.
