    I seriously want a pro- or consumer video camera which can shoot >30 Mbps H264 (AVCHD, MP4, whatever container you like) 1080p; MPEG2 would be awesome at that bitrate. Unfortunately, the only thing I know of creating footage of this quality at the moment is a DSLR (5D Mark II).

    @scarbrtj: I think AVCHD maxes out at 24 Mbps.

    @frigg: @weezeee: yeah, you guys are right... I confused AVCHD (an H264 m2ts from a camera) versus H264 m2ts from a Blu-ray, which has bitrates in the 30+ Mbps range. The Mark II shoots H264 at a ~40 Mbps rate.

    I actually like the design. Its compact and streamlined. I could see apple making something like this, only it would need to be white plastic. Or aluminium
