    I guess I get what they're trying to do with the ergonomics, and it makes some sense; typical camcorders require the user to bend their wrist in a strange angle to keep the lens pointed forward and parallel to the ground. But designs like the A href="http://www.amazon.com/Sanyo-VPC-CG9-Memory-Camcorder-Optical/dp/B0016GTBHA/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&s=photo&qid=1236949612&sr=1-6">Sanyo Xacti, with more of a pistol grip design, make a lot more sense to me and seem a lot more intuitive to hold and point in the right direction.

    @citizen024: it's actually particularly unsuited for upskirt photography. Try to take an upskirt with that camera and you'd be sure to get both a strained wrist and a broken nose.
