    @Cogito Ergo Bibo: I don't think the economy is as bad as you think. You know Robb Report magazine had the highest sales of any year the past 2 years? That's one of the more expensive magazines. The only people pushing the whole economy crisis are the media and those whom worked for companies that were bound to fall.

    @imTheKing: I'd never heard of Robb Report and so looked it up. Wow. I see what you mean. Maybe it's escapist porn for the downtrodden? Success of the magazine doesn't necessarily mean success for the high-priced shiny objects they are pushing. Which is more what I meant. I'm thinking yacht sales are off for the year. But using the escapist philosophy, I can certainly see how a yacht magazine might still have a decent number of subscribers. Cheaper than owning a yacht!

    @Cogito Ergo Bibo: Haha very much so. It's just amazing to me that 3 year subscriptions to Robb Report are $130 and more people ordered the 3 year sub from them than people who purchased general magazines that cost $10 for a sub. It's insane.

    @Platypus Man: Yeah, I have the G-Shock Waveceptor, and It says solar on the face, which is why wondered. This will be a nice "dress" watch, compared to my spraypaint covered G-Shock.

    @Gundem: Now while I have never had the pleasure of playing Sunset Riders I do wonder if you ever got the chance to play Activision's "Gun".

    THAT is an excellent game... So much so that I might have to go dig it up now from my outdated console graveyard.

    @NoFatChicks: Gun was released dursing 360's launch and i was all ho-hum with the 360, meaning PS2 was taking a short break. I know it was released for the 360 but bad reviews (due to lack of effort in upgrading) led me away.

    I'm a huge fan of TNG...however, someone online (maybe Scalzi?) kinda ruined it for me when he revealed that most plots were resolved by some convenient piece of technology. Now I can't watch an episode without saying to myself "Oh no, the Enterprise is going to explode! Good thing we can remodulate the shields by transphasing this metacortical transfibulator. It's never been done before, but it just! might! work!"

    That said, I won't be plunking down several hundred bones for the series until they remaster them like TOS (IF they can do it with the digital cg they used).
