Sure, I can no longer afford a McMansion in an affluent suburb, but I can get a storage unit somewhere and host fancy, LED-lit cocktail parties with this adjustable kitchen contraption. Isola S fits three electric cooking rings, a sink and corrugated-bottom drawers into a configurable yin yang shape. Add this to other tiny living space solutions from Japan and you'll wonder why you ever thought you needed anything bigger to begin with. Price not yet available. [Dvice]

<![CDATA[Hanging Man Lamp Will Knot Brighten Your Day]]> I'm not a big fan of subtlety, so when I saw Monday's noose lamp, I set out in search of something even more morbid. Lo and behold, the Colgao table lamp from enPieza! Studio in Spain, which really leaves nothing to the imagination. While the noose lamp could have been taken as an invitation to hang out, Colgao's message is much more "I'm at the end of my rope." These are dark times, my son, and if I'm going to be all gloom and doom, I want to be it all the way. [enPieza via crib candy]

This ridiculous mod uses a side-sliding trap door in the floor and a hydraulic lift to make a pool table appear where there was none before. Wooooweee, is that your pool cue or are you just happy to see me? [Ballerhouse -Thanks A.J.!]

<![CDATA[Digital Messaging Light Switch Cover the First of 2008's WTF Products]]> Parrot's light switch cover with a built-in speaker to relay the digital message of your choice makes me long for a product banhammer, a hefty blunt instrument with which I can bludgeon pointless gadgets to death, entertaining myself and sustaining plastic splinters in the process. Record your 20-second message and then flip either light switch to play it back. Costing $12.97, the good thing is you get four free screws with it. [WorldStart via OhGizmo!]
