I mean, the wallpaper really is resistant and all, but the main reason why the wall isn't colapsing is because that wallpaper is anchored.
Also, those brick walls could be taken out with a punch or even less force without the paper... so they can't really be used as comparison (it breaks the wall but doesn't break the wallpaper).
I'm not saying the product is a hoax, but just about any thicker plastic sheet would have the same effect.
@Bokusatsu_Tenshi: That's kind of the point. Of course it's going to be anchored or it would just fall apart. I'm not trying to be a dick or anything, but I disagree that just plastic would do what that stuff does. I'm sure it's a whole system and not just the "wallpaper" that stops the damage. #bombproofwallpaper
Why wouldnt they use this to armor hummers. Or better yet, armor one of those smart cars. I would like to see a smart car with this stuff on it against a hummer. All I can see is the smart car acting like a telephone pole in a crash. #bombproofwallpaper
@njdevil: Not only that, but just because it is kevlar does not mean it is bullet proof. It holds the wall together, it does nothing to prevent penetration of ballistic objects. #bombproofwallpaper
@jasonliang: I know they do a similar thing with some spray on truck bed liners. If I remember correctly, they put spray on truck bed liner on walls of the Pentagon because they had research showing you could detonate explosives (TNT) next to it and it would remain fully intact. #bombproofwallpaper
If I was still in the Army, and living in a tent somewhere, I would *so* wall-paper my entire tent with this. In fact, never mind the canvas, just make the entire tent out of bombproof wallpaper! #bombproofwallpaper
Technically it's only stronger in tension. The fabric doesn't support compression and concrete as weak under tension so it makes a great marriage. Cool but not the first material of its kind.

Video is really misleading...

The video proves nothing. #bombproofwallpaper
