If you really want the added security you could sync your contacts with one of the applications in the 'info' tab and then just sync them back.
You should be just fine with just the back up that iTunes creates though.

My phone can do that without jailbreaking, and the practicality of such a feature isn't that great really.

You mean you can't record video WITHOUT jailbreaking your phone?

Mine can also do taht already, without jailbreaking.

My phone can ALSO do THAT. (Yes copy and paste without jailbreaking)

I suppose I'll give ya this one :P Since it's not like they're playable anywhere else lol.
By the sounds of it, if this is all it can do, then jailbreaking is rather lame. Oh well.

I beg to differ, this is just making it even easier for the retarded people who have iPhones and iPod touches who jailbreak their phones and have no idea what they're doing.
