Windows Mobile 6.5 Previewed on an HTC Touch HD
Some stylus-wielding European posted a video on YouTube previewing Windows Mobile 6.5, honeycomb and all. It's a little choppy, and we're not sure how he got it, but it looks like the real deal. [Engadget]HTC's Full 2009 Smartphone Lineup Leaked?
HTC is among the leakier phone shops, and someone on the PPCGeeks forums claims to have their full 2009 smartphone roadmap. What's there? More Android goodness, and a potential US-bound Touch HD-based phone. More »SE Xperia Panel Interface Modded to Work on HTC Touch HD

Dealzmodo Hack: Cooked Software Revives HTC Phones
HTC has always known their biggest weakness: Windows Mobile. They've done their best to hide the aged interface in glossy costumes and bolster performance, but they can only do so much—the OS is slow, buggy and can drain battery life on certain hardware. Luckily, Windows Mobile responds well to per-device modification. A dedicated community of hackers called XDA has built a collection of streamlined, debugged, turbocharged OS builds (or ROMs) to resuscitate your flagging HTC phone, along with some less daunting smartphone tweaks for the weaker stomached. HTC Touch HD Pretty Much Never Coming to the US
No amount of oohing, aahing or drooling can convince HTC to bring this 480x800 monster to American shores, according to the Taiwanese company. That's a shame, because it was looking pretty good. The company passed the news on through Twitter, which is the corporate equivalent of breaking up with your girlfriend with a text message: More »HTC Touch HD Gets German Review (Verdict: Es ist gut!)
Frustrating is the wait here in the States for HTC's Touch HD—especially when our European friends are swimming in them. German site Area Mobile is the latest to post their impressions, and unsurprisingly, they're pretty positive. I only wish iPhone-killer had a cooler German translation. HTC Touch HD Quick Sizemodo: Pretty Close To The iPhone
French Gadget Site GeekInc, got an early HTC Touch HD unit to play with, and took a bunch of pics to show for it, including a couple of size comparisons against the iPhone. As you can see, they're pretty much the same size, save for some backend tapering. Their own impressions more or less coincide with our own hands-on, in that TouchFlo was super smooth, the screen was huge, and it appears the Touch HD camera handles low light pretty well. Check out a few more images below, and for a bunch more, check out [GeekInc]. More »HTC Touch HD Gets Beautifully Confirmed in Official Shots, Specs

HTC Touch HD Looks Big and Beautiful
It's all rumor and speculation, but a picture paints a thousand internet links. This alleged HTC Touch HD is a fullscreen touch device with WVGA (800X480) resolution—essentially taking, say, the Touch Diamond's razor-sharp screen and making it longer. As another metric, if you think the iPhone looks nice, realize that screen runs in 480x320. More »
