I will pass. Right now, the ads and suck in Hulu are very tolerable, and I don't mind it being online only. I mean, how often am I going to want to watch Rescue Me on a tiny phone remote streaming over 3g? not often...

Hulu is one of those cases where I hope people don't go overboard and screw up a great thing. Constantly hacking and slashing to circumvent the system, will only result in them putting more restraints into the system. And let's face it, the moment Hulu requires peopel to install some drm addon to keep people from ripping content, we will all go right back to downloading from BT.

With my PS3+XBox360+PSP+PlayON Media Server+Mediatomb UPNP linux server+Netflix. I am pretty much in digital streaming nirvana. Let's not mess up my flow by hacking up a good thing!

not really that into downloading shows onto my computer. That's why I use Hulu in the first place. If i really want something forever I'll either buy it or pirate it.

Plus hulu will shut this down in about 5 minutes so....

I hate hulu. The one time I was interested in watching it was to see Arrested Development because they have no other good shows there and it gave me the "Buffering" thing every 4 minutes, even though I was at school with a 100+ Mbit connection. Same thing happened at home with the 10 Mbit connection, so I think there's some problems on hulu's end. Also, how about some actual mythbusters episodes, or comedy central, or something I don't have to be a woman to enjoy?

You were at school? Are you sure _you_ had a 100MB+ connection, and that you weren't actually sharing said connection with several other people who were also trying to stream video or download other huge files? That sort of problem is exactly why I will never sign up for cable internet, since you can get seriously jacked if they oversell your neighborhood and you try to do anything during peak hours.

No thanks

I'd much rather attempt to find the show on iTunes first than dick around with some Hulu exploit that may break later on, provided I even care to watch the show again offline. It may not be free, but it makes up for it in sheer convenience.

What he is saying, decipherstatic (at least you're true to your name), is that the convenience of being able to download the show he wants and then watch it offline wherever he may be either through iTunes, or his iPod/iPhone, beats the hell of figuring out how to get a Hulu exploit working, and then having to transcode it for viewing on the go, only to have the workaround cut off some time in the future. There. I deciphered it for you.

@Kakkoister: It depends on the show. Not often do I actually come across an episode of any show that I'd care to ever watch again, except for the original ST, ST:TNG/DS9/Voyager and the Simpsons (only the older seasons) and ATHF.

@Kakkoister:I would never watch the same episode twice. Can't stand that. But watching a tv show on an iPhone/iPod Touch/or any other PMP/phone with a built in speaker and a high enough resolution screen = awesome. You should really try it some time before knocking it.

This software seems to be a ripper, not a real donwloader. It just rip whatever flash movie you have. The results are not the same that downloading a movie.
