I'm so glad this camera doesn't have 22 megapixels. Faster lenses and more sensitive sensors is where I'd like to see the market go. Can't wait for sample images.
@Tank: Same here. I've been shooting a lot of panoramas over a minute or two and stitching them on my PC. I've also been waiting for good image stabilization and low light shooting. I'd been using a DSC-P150 until now and it's done the job well. With my PSP I have more than enough memory sticks that I can use in the cameras already too.
Either the person holding the camera has huge hands, or that camera is a lot smaller than I thought. I never checked the dimensions before, and for some reason I thought it was closer to DSLR size..
bottom line is, Sony cant afford to play the price wars battle as well as Canon can right now and the quality is most likely going to be not quite as good as the Canon... in build quality and or image output.
also no mention of a swiveling lcd like the Canon has either...
@Wouldpkr: The previous higher end Cybershot that Sony released had a moving LCD for less than what this is asking for. For this price, it better have it.
@Kaiser-Machead: I had almost forgotten that Sony's were still using Memorystick...Wow, I would have thought Sony would have learned a few things about using proprietary formats by now...
