    What the hell is peanøttrippel?


    This [google] translates as: vanilla ice, which contains "peanøttrippel" and is coated with light chocolate.


    I'm absolutely not on board until somebody can tell me what "peanøttrippel" is.


    Because, I'll be honest, it does not sound toe-tappingly good.

    I'm a bit rusty on my Norwegian, but I believe it's a colloquialism that translates to "tastes of Jean Trippelhorn".

    @92BuickLeSabre: He says it's not a terribly common word, at least stuck together like that, but it means, literally, "triple-peanut."

    @Karin's being followed by a moonshadow: It's kind of disappointing how much sense that makes. Really Norwegian language? You're so similar to English that to say Triple Peanut you just draw a line through an "o," squeeze the letters together, switch the word order, and add some extra consonants? I made up languages as a child with more creativity.


    "Ooooh, let's switch the l & the e!"
