    A few months back, I took a Northwest flight to Omaha to visit sis, and before the plane was on its way, I took out my phone to make a call. A cute Japanese girl sitting next to me notice the phone, and seemed overly excited to show me her white SE W810i, identical to mine, save for the color. Fuck you smartphone, even dumbphones can be noticed.

    @Kaiser-Machead: The first time I saw an IPhone in person, I got really excited (because of Giz brainwashing, no doubt) and asked the guy if I could touch it. He wouldnt let me hold it, but kept it in his hand while I adoringly stroked it a few times.


    That story didnt turn out like I thought it would either.

    I blame Gizmodo for telling people that the iPhone loves you but hates other phones. Between that and the IRON BAR!!!, Gizmodo makes smartphones out to be intimidating.

    @OMG! Ponies!: That's because most of the Giz populace isn't smart enough to own a Smartphone, let alone a Geniusphone like the iPhone.


    I mean, we KNOW it's a Genius phone because when you go to get help you have to go to this counter, with men in black shirts standing behind it and a superior attitude with a sign overhead that says, "Genius Bar" Would a Genius have time for something that is merely only smart?

    @Yeebles: Genius phones never break, but they're far superior to the people who normally operate them. Thus why they need help using them. It's a genius phone, not a how stupidly easy can I make this to use phone.
