Great pictures. I really have to give you guys credit. These are pure awesome. I will leave you with one of the greatest MCs to pick up the mic. Big L.
What impressed me about the photo is that while everything looks like an acid trip, the miniature Statue of Liberty looks normal. So, get wasted all you want folks, the core elements of our freedom will be there to sober you up.
@Software_Goddess: Back to the original subject of this thread, I think it's safe to say that the most vivid colors, like everything else, is only appreciated when doled sparingly. No matter how bright and electric the world is, the mindset would be pretty much the same. Now, if everyone were able to see something far clearer and brighter than what they've ever known, now yer talkin'.
@Kaiser-Machead: I'm thinking that having a greater range of spectral sight would make things seem clearer as it would give more depth to the object being viewed.
@Software_Goddess: Indeed it would, but at the same time, our appreciation of that largely derives from the fact that we don't have it in the first place, or at least, have it often.
@laio: I'm assuming when you say "Arabians" you mean the Palestinians. Note: Arab is a term that refers to those from a particular penninsula in the Middle-East. I assume by "Arab" you meant Muslim, a person who practices the religion of Islam. Someone might ignorantly use "Arab" and "Muslim" interchangeably, but to be sure, while the almost complete population of those from the Arabian Peninsula are Muslim, the majority of the population of Muslims are made up of those beyond that peninsula. By point of fact, Indonesia has the world's fourth-largest population, the vast majority of which are Muslims, making it the world's largest population of Muslims.
Having covered some basic points of world geography and populations we move onto something more commonplace; food and world cultures. This is fun, eh? Kind of like Jeopardy!. You know, different categories of things you should have learned long ago? I digress.
Food and world cultures for 200 Alec. "This religion's followers are forbidden by strict doctrine, cultural taboo from eating pork products." "Answer: What is Islam?" "Correct."
In summary, the chances of a group of Saudis, Omani, Yemeni, or UAE citizens[These are all Arabians] coming to a meeting that geographically doesn't concern them(although culturally, religiously or politically does) and eating a food that is forbidden by their religion is, to use a phrase, rather far-fetched.
I made something in my Dad's garage (forty years ago now!). A coffee jar filled with oil and containing a high voltage transformer made from relay cores and iron rods. A heap of permanent magnets and a big coil powered by AC directly from the wall, and a canister of butane. The butane makes a flame that conducts a current from the high voltage discharge to make a plasma. As the current ramps up the 60 Hz magnetic field (at ninety degrees to the current) moulds the plasma into pulses. The permanent magnets push the pulse train in one direction. Result, something that looks like a benchtop ray-gun.
Of course there was also the time that I realized that large alkaline batteries were a source of blocks of carbon. What do you make with a big pile of carbon blocks? Let's just say that fortunately I thought that pitch was short for pitchblende, a uranium ore, which isn't true. Mixing melted pitch with Clorox (closest I could come to hydrochloric acid) does leave yellow crystals when you evaporate the solution. thankfully said crystals are not uranium chloride....

Obama says: YES WE CAN.
i'm pretty sure everyone could make peace with any other if there is a Bacon and Waffles for Peaceful Guys Party.
i mean like, Israeli and the Arabians who don't like each other could be friends if someone threw a Bacon and Waffles for Peace Party.
