    With all the other Obama Merch for sale, whats one more thing? I find the level of glurge/hyperbole in these commercials more offensive than any puppet:



    You can also get a plate, which honors the "day the world changed forever", and features Obama and his "competent smile and kind eyes". Keep in mind, there is a limit of two plates. But it ALSO comes with a Barack Obama coin!

    Ok... offensive or not.. I am pissed at the novelization of the Presidency. It ticks me off. All the Obama plates, coins, bedsheets, UGLY ASS TOYS.


    How can we expect to have him respected by those who despise him when we marginalize him for profit. Its agregeous[sic] and downright insulting.

    And unfortunately the new administration has even gotten in on the act. The proverbial straw for me was getting an email from the Obama Inauguration people letting me know that the with a quick visit to the Obama Store I could purchase my very own official Obama Inauguration merchandise.


    Political spam from my candidate? Requested, accepted, and read.


    Commercial spam from the President-Elect? Plain old not cool.


    ...and it was not helped when my local coffee shop was selling three different kinds of Obama breath mints today.
