One, it takes away the enjoyment of watching people wrestle unsexily with a bunch of string puporting to be a bed. Two, I am not sure how keen I am on plastic parts (unless, of course, you're talking about Action Man, in which case, Bring. Him. On.) Three, it's not as portable as a an all-rope hammock. And Four, what is so hard about getting into a hammock? Like getting it on in a hammock, practice is everything. Gallery of Pinar Yar & Tugrul Govsa's creation after the jump.

is it just me, or has that guy got his hand down his pants? You'll go blind, you know. [Yanko]

<![CDATA[World's Largest Indoor Tornado]]> It's far from destructive, but the indoor tornado set up at the Mercedes-Benz museum is cool nonetheless. Using the museum's 144 air intake nozzles, they set up a smoke machine on the ground below, had air blowing in from the sides causing a swirling effect and let the nozzles suck up the smoke. The Guiness Book of World Records officially declared it the largest indoor tornado. I think want one of these in my house. [Pop Sci]

<![CDATA[Tomy Indoor Aerosoarer]]>

As a child, or even now, you wished for a radio-controlled airplane on your birthday. Here's the one you always wanted: The "TOMITECH Aerosoarer" (6.7 x 7.8 inches), an infrared controlled model airplane made for the indoors. It comes in six colors, and because it's made out of styrene foam it weighs just 0.12 oz. That means you can navigate it through your McMansion without worrying that it will crash into your wife's favorite vase, or that 50-inch HDTV you unwrapped during the holidays. Available on the Japanese market starting April 1, the price is about $22.
