But not everyone dreams the same, some people love giant slides, and this family went a little nuts and installed one inside their house for the kids. Not for the adults, mind you, the kids. It's 30 inches in diameter and totals 30 feet long, all indoors. It's built to wrap around the used parts of the house so you'd never notice. I want a water slide like this. This is so cool it makes me resent my parents even more for never doing anything remotely this cool, ever. [The Craig Caboodle]

<![CDATA[Netherlands To Get World's Largest Indoor Golf Complex]]> I play golf, but I hate the outdoors, so I'm going to move to the Netherlands, because they're on track to open this rad, giant, indoor golf course that I can play year round. Non-golfers won't understand what that means, but those of us in Seattle have a fairly short period that we actually get to go out and play, thus it's a crowded affair, making it very expensive. This magic land will have 34 indoor driving range berths, measure over 15,000 square feet, and feature weather-protected sand traps and water hazards. I'm hoping George Jetson attends the opening, because his handicap sucks. [Tuvie, via TechFresh]

<![CDATA[Biokite: Is Flying a Kite Indoors Weird?]]> There is something a little bizarre about the idea of flying a kite indoors —but in reality, that characteristic makes the BioKite ideal for the disabled. Thanks to a super aerodynamic structure and extreme light weight of only 10 grams, the BioKite can fly in completely windless environments. It can also be accurately controlled using the fishing rod and reel attachment. Just don't expect this sort of cutting-edge kite technology to come cheap. Available for 11,000 Yen or $100. <![CDATA['The Floppy' Indoor Golf Balls]]> The name of this product sounds like the e-mails the usually fill up my spam folder, but The Floppy is actually an indoor-use golf ball. It is made out of a soft core and woven outer shell, but still feels like a real golf ball so that short game can still be practiced indoors—no chance in hell I'll be hitting the links with the downpour of rain that is sweeping the nation. $10 for a pack of three or $35 for a dozen.
