That is not a microsoft surface table. That's an optical screen, not a touch screen. See the weird symbols in those prisms? Those are sigils that a camera can track. The camera watches where those are, sends it to the computer, which then tells the projector behind the surface how to display the appropriate data.
I can't see the video, so maybe there's also some touch interactions, but there's also some cameras involved in making that work. #infractor

@onishin: Did not realize that. Still, this is using the sigils that are designed for standard cameras and I've seen plans online for constructing such a device (and I've played with the software it uses, which is pretty solid). #infractor
