In reply to Dell Mini 9 Available for $99 with a Two-Year AT&T Contract
Total ripoff, after 7 months you have already paid more than the netbook costs now. AT&T is ridiculous. Why would I pay $60 a month, for a netbook internet service. My monthly cable internet, which I get wi-fi from doesn't even cost that much.

@Wicked1: The fact that it's AT&T aside, the cumulative amount that you end up paying during the span of the contract is not the same as paying that much money for the hardware itself, unless you never use the service, but keep paying the bill. I pay more than $60 each month for my cell phone on T-Mobile's cheapest plan.

Your monthly cable service may be cheaper, but you can't actually take it with you if you move about with your laptop outside.
