I'll keep my X200 thanks. I've taken a vow to never buy a Sony, Toshiba, or Hitachi product. Never had one that didn't fail. All of the Sony/Toshiba laptops I've had went through at least three power cords EACH before I finally gave up. And they overheat. Lovely.
As someone who just purchased a Studio 15 last week, I'm not seeing a huge difference between that and the 15z except that the 15z is a little lighter and a little pricier. If I were making the decision today I'd probably opt for the 15z, but I do wonder what Dell was thinking making two such similar machines unless they're getting rid of the Studio line completely.
@Victor Zarza: I'd explain it to you but there's a lot of complicated mathematic formulas involved...
Of course my original comment is null and void now since the main image in this article was changed. Judging from some of the other comments it looks like too many people were expressing interest in the redhead instead of the netbook.
@Jrsy Devil's Food Cake®: It's not a netbook. No netbook cost $1k. I don't blame people commenting on the attractive girl rather than a laptop. Wow another laptop. Yawn.
On a more serious note, I wonder how laptop design will have to change to accommodate such wonderful procs. I would prefer my laptop to remain intact and not burning any parts of my body. Maybe I'm just paranoid.
@My Secret Identity: The memory controller, among other things, has been moved on die. So, while the CPUs have a higher dissipation, there are fewer hot spots on the mobos.
Well, I needed one in time for school, anyways, since the last one died a heat-fry-y death, so I guess I can't feel too bad. I hope you and I will remain friend forever, Lenovo.
