and www.commondreams.org is a political activist site, everything on their page is hyped up worse than the common media. In my eyes...comparable to PETA...there's no knowledge from this site...only false alarms meant to rowl people up.

It's ridiculous to think or say that you "had to be there" in order to make observations and an analysis. Not me pal.
I don't usually argue with people here, but this is an important issue.
If I told you the "terrorists" had killed 351 Americans since 2001 what you say? I guess the "terrorists" could always claim they "didn't mean to".
People are dying. Maybe you don't care.
Logically sources are irrelevant. Is the data good or bad is the only question.
351 people died. Ask the DOJ.

I'd say about 300-1000 ohms. But in all seriousness, tasers hurt like hell but police tasers don't work by incapacitating you with pain. They work by locking up your muscles. Tasering someone is a hell of a lot more humane than hitting them. Even though this was excessive I don't know why people freak out as if he was shot.

Regardless, police shooting deaths are down substantially since the taser was deployed along with the significant drop in police related injuries from fighting hand to hand with the dregs of society. Tasers, in most every case, with the exception of the ED cases, have almost immediate recovery. Pain ceases when you stop resisting the police, unlike pepper spray, blunt force, and bullets. Let's see taser or shoot with .40 Glock? I'll take the taser, and have been tasered several times......

My dad was a cop. He recently retired and goes on tours to Kosovo, Iraq, Afghanistan for the state department. The locals in Afghanistan observed that he always comes to work looking like he's ready to kill someone the way he carries his rifle everywhere he goes (he's supposed to!) and he says, "It could really go either way." Chew on that quote. Put yourself in his shoes if it helps. Really, I'll be glad to see him again on his next visit home.
Do tasers harm those with cardiac problems? The research is very limited and far from definitive.
Am I biased? Certainly.
Were any of us there? No.
Does it look shitty? Absolutely.

Also, these cops obviously hate Obama because he, too, is black. Therefore, they think anybody who can't afford health insurance deserves to die. They'd also be totally cool with another crusade, God-willing (and they hope He is).
The amputee, because he had a spat with racist conservatives, is clearly a liberal who thinks all fetuses should die. He's likely gay, too, because all liberals are gay, you know?

Another, perhaps more informative question would be to ask, "How many of those 351 people who were killed posed a risk to someone's life?", as opposed to how many had a "big mouth".
Police shootings are another matter entirely.

It's so easy to say "351 TASER deaths since 2001". How many death have happened due to automobile accidents since 2001? I can definitely tell you its more than 351. Have people decided yet to ban cars? Would you stop driving because of that?
