    is it worth it to upgrade if your running it on a older laptop? who's sole purpose is chat, email and surfing?

    @Mike.leger: What's currently on the lappie? Linux variants typically need fewer resources than their MS counterparts. I'll update my Aspire One when I get home - an earlier update nuked my WiFi driver.

    installed WINE yesterday, i was really skeptical before but man is it slick. sure it crashes sometimes, but then again, i AM running windows apps...
