The saga continues. A reader forwarded us this note he got from AT&T, simply stating that his iPhone 4 preorder had been cancelled, for no apparent reason. And he's not the only one. Updated: More cancellations, including some from Apple.
They denied it, but readers claim that AT&T is exposing credit cards and shipping information during iPhone 4 pre-orders. Wrong shipping information is even being used by AT&T and Apple's websites to send units to the wrong people. [Updating live]
According to Boy Genius Report, all of AT&T's pre-order iPhones have been reserved as of 4:30pm EST. And if you placed an order any time after that, you might have a bit of a wait on your hands. Updated:
The Apple Store App is here! It's your basic retail experience, with added perks like setting up Genius Bar appointments and reserving an iPhone 4 from your current phone. Which might be why it's currently borked.
Apple's website has just set the pre-order page live for the iPhone 4, however it appears the white iPhone is "currently unavailable for pre-order or in-store pickup." Black it is, then. Shipping starts June 24th. UPDATE
