    Not sure how a piece of plastic can "amplify" a signal, that would require adding energy. I can see how it would focus the sound though, and that is what it does.

    @Gary_7vn: The strange thing is that this actually works. I don't have the actual piece up there, but when I put my phone in the pocket of my car dashboard, it actually sounds louder. It also works as concentrating the reception of the mic.

    I thought we were past the issue of the iPhone's speaker sucking. I've actually been quite impressed with the speaker phone capabilities on the 3G iPhone.

    @punk1n13: Reminds me of the time I bought some Pirelli 225/45R17 blackwalls because the ad with the Ferrari was so cool.


    I'm weeping, while swinging on my Pirelli Tire swing, and later I'll eat dinner, at my Pirelli-bottomed dining room table.
