pretty sure that just because apple released a new beta doesn't mean that thats the biggest press event of the month by the amount of posts that giz makes about it.
how about the new dell laptop? which is BETTER then the macbook air? what that had 4 posts about it i think? and that is ACTUALLY being released, not just a beta.

Furthermore, of the numerous posts about this article there is a much smaller amount of people like you complaining about the simple fact it was posted.
I'm willing to bet my $20 life savings that they generate more ad revenue from an Apple event as opposed to Dell coming out with their billionth craptop. I'm not saying it is any better or worse than the MBA, but rather don't care as it has absolutely nothing to do with articles relating to a freakin' phone.

What about the people who have purchased the Ipod Touch 1st generation users....We believed in Apple to take a chance on the 1st generation...If they would have let me know I would have just only bought the 2nd Gen.
Do we know for sure that 1st gen adopter won't be let out to dry and have to purchase the 2nd Gen version?

You'll have to pay as usual too, I believe about $10 bucks since you don't get raped through a contract like us phone users.
And not to say you are, but I'm under the impression that many touch users are stupid. I find it hilarious and frustrating when I read app store comments like, "there's no sound on this app on my first gen touch without the stupid headphones plugged in? Why didn't the developer mention this?!?!"
