iTunes Concept Shows How iPhone App Management Should Have Worked From the Start |

I certainly understand Apple wanting to bundle these tasks into one handy application, but iTunes has become a sluggish brute. The "slickness" has become sludgy slackness.
It's bad enough the iPod owners are forced to use Apple software in order to use the hardware, but it's adding insult to injury when we must also use an 80+ MB piece of crap that does a bunch of stuff we don't need or want. An iTunes "lite" would be very nice for those of us who simply want to put music on our iPods, and aren't interested in living the Apple/iTunes/iPod Shiny Slick Lifestyle.
