    It's so bulky! The iPhone is so sexy, why would you destroy that? It would be nice if they made one without all the extra junk that just added juice to the phone without the flashlight, etc.


    But yeah, it's pretty well-priced. I think they just need to tweak it some more.

    You should venture over to Consumerist (where this was originally posted) and see that:


    It may have/could have been a sales associate error (handed the wrong one to the guy because the 1st gen chargers don't work on the 3G phones) which begs the question - Did the person go back in and tell them it didn't work? Which could mean that it's not "big, bad company out to get you" syndrome here.

    ok. $227 for this thing. or, $120 for a spare new battery for the laptop that I get about 2 hours out of (3-4 if I shut down everything that touches the hard drive and run movies from a usb thumb drive).


    Hell, for $227 I could get a spare laptop full battery plus a "media bay" one (that replaces the never-used cdrom). That would give 3-4 hours of regular use on the original plus the media bay one, then I could swap in the spare regular one without shutting down and go another 2 hours or more.


    I think I know which choice I'd make.
