    An Apple media pad sounds like I already want one, and I'm not even a fanboy. I'm Amish for crying out loud (Mennonite, actually).


    The iPhone lite though doesn't make as much sense. The iPhone's a growing platform, so it doesn't seem like Apple to dumb it down.

    How anemic would an "iPhone Lite" be?

    I'll be out of contract with Verizon this summer and ready to make the jump when v.3 comes out but I'd really rather stay with Verizon unless the hardware is mediocre.

    An iPhone Lite with a "connected touchscreen tablet?" Does that mean the tablet is going to be a touchscreen tablet available only through Verizon (much like how netbooks are now being sold through wireless providers?) I like the idea of a tablet, but not that.
