iRadio Brings Streaming Radio to iPhone, YAY

iRadio, by Conceited Software, just received an update which brings it much closer to being a valuable iPhone app. The app is basically a SHOUTcast player for the iPhone that allows playing and browsing of thousands of online stations. The app works best under WiFi, but is not limited to it, and does work while using EDGE. There are still many quarks to be worked out, but for the most part, we are impressed with this early application.

Motorola iRadio For Music On-the-Go

Here's something new and interesting from our friendly, neighborhood Motorola. iRadio is a subscription music service that will go from your home, to car to wireless headphones—all powered from your cellphone. Being demonstrated at CES, it's launching with 435 commercial-free channels and uses Bluetooth to move your content to different locations. Of course, Motorola will also offer Bluetooth accessories to help with the service, like an adapter for a home stereo, and a wireless car kit compatible with virtually all car stereos from major manufacturers such as Pioneer, Alpine, Sony and Kenwood. You can get iRadio through a simple software application that can be downloaded to a handset over-the-air. More »
