    Yeah, I got snubbed too. I guess depicting Lord Jobs with a lightsaber was frowned upon.. :(

    I don't think first place would work. It would have be constantly updated or it would be old in about a month.

    @MacPatrick: Which is why I would suggest it use a more generic representation inside.

    I think that, on the first one, if the content inside the icon were made into more general generic representations of the content rather than specific stills and artwork from movies and music, it would really work perfectly. Overall I'd say it's the best as well.

    The Steve Jobs liver one made me giggle and hate myself, just a smidge.

    @Kaiser-Machead: It's actually a horrible logo in terms of design though. When designing a logo, one of the main points is to make sure the icon can be used at its smallest needed size. Considering how far down these icons need to scale, that icon would never work.

    @imTheKing: I suppose you're right about that. The content within the icon would have to be very simplistic in order to work.

    HA! GREAT SUBMISSIONS! No one purchases from iTunes if they know what torrents are. I especially like the Limewire icon one: [gizmodo.com] [tech]

    @travisvannimwegen: or if they want to purchase music with honesty... or maybe they just don't want to get caught. Real music enthusiasts would never STEAL music.

    @lostarchitect:

    That doesn't contradict travis' assertion. Buying from iTunes is dumbfucktarded. If you have issues with stealing music, get something for your money and buy CDs (like lostarchitect).

    @roflwaffles is terribly unfunny: Good thing they don't have to, since all iTunes files are 256kbps AAC, roughly equivalent to a 320kbps mp3.

    I see many LimeWire icons, which is great for all the virii and spyware, but no FrostWire love? For shame. It even handles torrents!

    @TheyCallMeStacey_GitEmSteveDav...:[tech] Limewire handles torrents, too. I tried Frostwire once and didn't really like it. Why is it better?

    @travisvannimwegen: No spyware, for one. Of course, they might have changed that since the last time I used it, but it's what I substitute LimeWire with on people's systems I fix.
