It's got a 1GHz Via C7 CPU, an 8-inch EarthLCD touchscreen LCD on the front, 1GB Crucial DDR2 memory, and integrated Wi-Fi.

The most important part is how this guy looks, and it looks great with flame mahogany and chrome accents. It looks like an old clock, but it's inspired by French clockmaker Bayard and takes art deco cues as well. Definitely another classy addition to Jeffrey's wooden stable. [Jeffrey Stephenson]

<![CDATA[ Humidor Casemod Master Puts New PC In Tiny Wooden Box ]]> Jeffrey Stephenson, the man who first looked at a cigar humidor and said, "I can turn that into a PC," has made another Art Deco PC out of wood. The G-metric Nano, which will be unveiled publicly at CES this year, is the smallest enclosure Stephenson could design that contained a VIA NX15000 Nano-ITX mainboard, 1GB of RAM, and a slot-loading DVD player. The case itself is hard Pennsylvania cherry, but Stephenson's signature inlay is done with walnut, mahogany, basswood and cherry veneers. The feet serve a dual purpose of adding style and hiding the fact that the large heatsink extends out of the box a tad. [Jeffrey Stephenson]

<![CDATA[ Skyscraper Photo PC's Case Made Entirely of Wood ]]> We're big fans of master craftsman and computer constructor Jeffrey Stephenson's work, and now he's outdone himself with the Skyscraper Photo PC, made entirely of basswood and mahogany veneer. We've shown you some of Stephenson's work before, the beautiful Decomatic Model 12, and now it looks like he's outdone himself with this case mod with a flat panel display out front to show off your favorite pics or vids.

hammond2.jpgThe Skyscraper Photo PC is modeled after a 1931 Hammond Gregory clock (pictured above), a mantle timepiece that mimicked skyscrapers of the Deco era.

On Stephenson's PC, that's an 11.3" LCD up front, which he scavenged from an automotive ceiling-mounted DVD player. There's a Via motherboard inside with a fanless 1GHz C7 processor, 1GB of RAM, a 120W picoPSU power supply and it even has a CompactFlash adapter.

It's just gorgeous. [Slippery Skip]

<![CDATA[ Jeffrey Stephenson's Decomatic Model 12: Wow ]]> Check out master craftsman and PC case modder Jeffrey Stephenson's latest creation which he calls The Decomatic Model 12. There's really a PC inside there, and the case is made of white oak with a gloss lacquer finish. Those are actual chrome steel inserts inside those four supports, which are made of red mahogany. And oh yeah, that knob up front is a programmable USB input device. Sweet.

We're big fans of Stephenson's work, and have long admired his craftsmanship and innovation in previous works such as his Microphone PC, his Humidor NX, and his whimsically toaster-like DECOmputer. Look at this pic of the back of the Decomatic:

With a bit of the moo-laa, perhaps you could convince Jeffrey to build one of these for you. This latest creation made its debut at CES earlier this month. Bravo!
