Well if it's for Dave Bowman, the least they can do is put down some decent noise-dampening carpeting so that when he drops his silverware, it doesn't make the loud clanging noise.

And maybe a better lock to keep monoliths from sneaking into the room.

I could not sleep in a bed by a window that had no covering. A feeling of no privacy would not allow me any comfort to relax and not sleep dreaming that I was under a microscope.

@Curves: Funny...you recently told a story about how you were the one with the telescope looking in on people. I guess you don't want to be on the other side of the lens.

@GTgeek: But that was an accident! OK, so maybe we should have done the right thing and turned the telescope away when we figured out what was going on, but all the alcohol in our systems didnt permit that. Nothing worse than a bunch of drunked up women on an all girl vacation.
