John Mayer Cheats On Apple With a Sony Vaio
Just when we thought John Mayer was happy with his MacBook Air, he goes and cheats on Apple with a Sony Vaio. Was it the fact that he had to submit a bug report? Was it the fact that everyone's submitting bug reports with his name in it? Or how about because he's on the Sony BMG label? Who knows! John Mayer Gets Apple Reply after Bug Report Jibba-Jabba
It looks like writing "John Mayer here" really works to get Apple's attention when you report a problem. According to Steve Jobs' fab guitarist, they got back to him directly only four days after he sent the bug report ramblings:

100 Million iPods—in Sony's Face
It's official. Apple has sold 100 million iPods. According to the press release, this isn't just some round number. Apparently, 100 million units sold in five and a half years makes the iPod "the fastest selling music player in history." As if that wasn't enough of a potshot at Sony, makers of the now-forgotten Walkman, the press release goes on to quote Sony recording artist John Mayer, who sings the praises of the little white devil.
