nasty! disgraceful!
And the Stuka, of all planes, had to get this treatment. One of the most bad-ass airplanes of all times, if you were under one you'd cower in fear and dig yourself into a hole in your own shit when you hear the Jericho trumpets.

So, how is the Stuka badass, again?
I mean, really, compared to *any* relatively modern plane built for the same purposes, I'd say it's pretty damn lame.

as a Dive Bomber and later as a Tank Buster, the Ju-87 was an effective airframe, it was stable, well behaved and a useful gun platform. against purebred fighters, it was underpowered and lacked defensive armour, but as a ground attack aircraft, it excelled at the time.

The flaps, the wing & tail design.... the screaming noise as it dive bomb right over you nearly vertical.
This is one of those epic planes of WWII.

Great if you're into dieselpunk. Old and clunky nowadays.
@Skunky:
I thought the F-35 Lightning II was all the rage these days...
