    That is horrible. I hope those that prosecuted her, die and go to hell.


    Nothing could have popped up on that computer that would have been worth 40 YEARS IN PRISON!!!!


    1. Porn is not illegal.
    2. If I had sex with a 14 year old I would not serve 40 years in prison.

    Poor woman. It just goes to show that people in power(judge, detectives, prosecutors) don't have a clue about how the modern world works when it come to tech of any kind

    @crazyeoin: That's why it is so important to vote out old judges and politicians and replace them with someone who better understands "today's" world. We have people from the old era trying to lead us into the new one.

    @snoop-blog: AFAIK you can't vote a judge out, you have to wait until they retire/die, or impeach them (easier said than done as we can't even impeach Bush even with all the crimes his administration has committed).

    Junior high was never this exciting when I attended.


    The fact that the teacher was a substitute should tell anyone she is likely not the person who is responsible for the spyware.

    Pretty tough to bring a civil suit once you've pled guilty to criminal charges.


    She essentially gave up all those rights as well as her ability to teach, and will live the rest of her life with a criminal record along with all of the civil liabilities that come with that record, because after 4 years, health problems, massive time commitment, and personal expense it just wasn't worth it anymore.


    Happens. All. The. Time.
