i have a different brand of something similar that charges from both my car or any wall outlet, has a light, air compressor and 12v DC outlet. i didn't feel the need for the upgrade because i already own a couple of 12v DC inverters, one of which has 3 AC outlets and a USB power port. it never leaves my car unless i go camping, where i use the light [for obvious reasons] and the outlet for my portable thermoelectric cooler [which i have to have for my insulin, not just for 'luxury camping']
but i can just plug it into my car to recharge while i am driving. since my car's outlets turn off when the engine is off, i don't have to worry about my car's battery being drained.
mine hasn't got the fancy voice technology, just dials to tell me how much power is left, but i haven't once had the thought that i needed a voice prompt.
while it's a nice shiny product, and has a couple of extras features that mine doesn't have, i still like the one i picked up at harbor freight tools better because it was about $100 LESS than the duracell
The only issue with this type of device is that you have to keep it charged because its essentially a glorified battery. If it charged on 12v DC that would be interesting... (so it never leaves your car)
