Numbers, facts, figures, equations. These are all obviously critical components of the space program. But numbers don't speak to our emotions. It's hard to commit millions of dollars and thousand of hours to an equation. We need something visceral that we can connect to.
Meet Justin, the space robot. He's clever, agile, wired to a human for control (of the robot, not the human) and he's a possible solution for fixing orbiting satellites in the post-Shuttle era. If they're dead, he can even fire them to their doom.
AppleStore is down again and that most probably means new MacBook Pros with Santa Rosa chipsets. Or free hot dogs in every order to celebrate the iPhone launch. I can go either way. I hope is both, though. And free english mustard. That too.
Apparently the rumors may be true and you should expect new Apple stuff today. At least, the AppleStore is down throughout the world. On a Tuesday, that means new products and given the recent avalanche of new Centrino Duo laptops, we can probably expect Santa Rosa-equipped MacBook and MacBook Pro models.
