We've mentioned this earlier, but now the news comes directly from the Verizon gatekeepers. With a two-year contract, the white Chocolate will set you back $130 and the white K1m comes in at $200. Besides being a few shades lighter, the white Chocolate comes with firmware that enables speakerphone. When the LG Chocolate first shipped a few months ago, its speakerphone was woefully disabled by lame firmware.

According to ads plastered all over New York, the white Chocolate is available in stores now. Now if only the cellphone wasn't a piece of garbage...

<![CDATA[Alltel Wireless Getting MOTOKRZR K1M]]> We've come to the conclusion that Alltel customers are a lot like Mac fans—fiercely protective of their low-marketshare-having company. This conclusion was reached from all the comments we get from Alltel customers whenever we post about T-Mobile's myFaves plan saying they had this for a long time, and with 10 numbers. Well tooty toot for you!

Now you guys get The MOTOKRZR, Motorola's followup to the RAZR, which will be available in your Alltel stores starting October 5. Now you can't say we never do anything for you guys.

<![CDATA[Motorola KRZR K1m Imminent]]> Could the Motorola KRZR K1m, that scaled-down version of the iconic RAZR, be on the verge of release from Verizon? Well, it's showing up on Verizon's testman site, a sign that it may hit the streets sooner than everyone thought, perhaps by mid-October. In fact, sources say it started shipping out of Asia last week.

If you're not familiar with the KRZR, take a look at the picture above, comparing the KRZR to the RAZR. The KRZR is narrower and almost as thin. It also has similar specs, with a 1.9-inch inside display at 176x220 pixels, and an outer display at 96x80. It's a dual-band CDMA phone with EV-DO and a 2-megapixel camera, as well as Bluetooth and a microSD memory card slot. Expect it to sell for $199 with a two-year contract.
